What is Blockchain?

Blockchain is secured system that records and holds information. The system
was programed in a way that makes hacking and manipulating it's code nearly
impossible. It's essentialy a digital system that witholds transactions and distributes it throughout the blockchain.

Who Created Blockchain?

Blockchain was invented by a Japanese man, Satoshi Nakamoto in October of
2008. The program was created to protect cryptocurrencies including bitcoin.
Nakamoto's invention made it possible to store, transfer and confirm transactions without central authority.

What Does a Blockchain Hold?

Blockain's are contained in a distributed database that hold a
continously growing list of blocks. Each block has a hash, timestamp
and transaction data of the previous block. The data within a block includes
information from open source softwares. The hashes prevent theprogram from
being hacked and acts like a chain for all the blocks around it.

Distributed Ledger Technology

A diital ledger or Distributed Ledger Technology(DLT) is what is used
to store technology. DLTs use cryptography to store information securley
and accurately. The data is opened with cryptographic signatures and keys.
Because ledgers are private and encrypted, they are less prone to cybercrime.
